ugh I feel all zombie-fied, had an appt with my new counsellor at 1:15 and I woke up at 12:55 I'd been having a bad dream and I really freaked out and then I had to rush rush rush to get there, my beautiful boyfriend gave me a lift so I just got to the doctors in time but I wasn't exactly thinking clearly in the session. Idk how helpful they'll be anyway, it's all quite basic stuff and I don't know what would be useful.

People can be the nicest people in the world- just a bigoted sort of opinion and that can turn them ugly.(re: a trip to my local centre that helps in mental health, and work and a guy's obvious not too hidden bigoted views)

Relieved to have passed my presentation, even if I'm still miles behind everyone else in my yeargroup. On the positive, even though it wasn't the greatest mark in the world, it was an advance on my previous one (even if it was only by 1% ). Micro-gains ftw?

I hate having to do call-backs too. I always think that I'm going to catch them at the wrong time.

urgh... I know what its about.. over time, theyre sooo busy they need me. But if I'm supposed to be part of their team then I should call back and be a nice guy.. rather than an arse who doesnt call back. So I dunno why I should call back just to say no, me not calling is doing that in itself lol. But then I am an arse....

so complicated

Not sure what I'm feeling at the moment. Mixed feelings about everything, up and down all the time. Just when I think I'm making progress, something stomps all my confidence into the ground. Now I gotta do a first aid course tomorrow which will involve doing CPR on dummies.

Thats good, hope it was helpful.

I feel quite cheerful, funny seeing as I have pretty much zero things to be cheerful about.

You're not an arse. Besides, you can't possibly do as bad as I did when trying to book an appointment. Rang up, then when the receptionist said "Hello" I freaked out and hung up! I hope you manage to do it.

I remember well lol

I agree, though sometimes it's the environment or people that I'm with that seem to make my mood drop if drinking... I wouldn't say that I'm one of the people who can't drink without turning cause it isn't true.

Once, while drunk, I emailed a lecturer all about my SA and stuff.

He emailed back saying 'I see you have a problem'.

I thought thanks.

Did the same with Maths at GCSE as well, was incredibly relieved when I passed, we have to take phase tests, which I passed, but not with flying colours, just got to hope for a miracle.

really pissed off

typical me just happened : -

so my mate said "are you still up for tomorrow"

i was like yeah cool , then i cancelled my support worker appointment which was for 1pm.

Then my mate said "i will meet ya at 11:30am but i have to be gone for 1pm "

At this point most people would say , works out well. NOt me

i replied forget it i have an app at one anyway , then re made the appointment with my support worker . 11:30-1pm?? a measley 90 minutes?? what rejection !!!!

ok then i calmed down and said look ok i will meet you i was just being an idiot to which she replied " i have made other plans sorry "

this made me fume. How dare you reject me like that !!!! How dare you make other plans!!!!

ok i see the logic in all this but this is how i am . i am angry and feel like self harming and exploding!!!

i caused the rejection but i am angry at her

Karl, try to relax and think exactly what it is you're angry over here...

Just try to calm down and think properly...

I know it's hard cause I have anger issues myself

I know... I get like that too, I interpret things as rejection, but they don't see it as rejecting.

You wanted to spend longer with her and were willing to cancel an appointment, and she only wanted to spend just over an hour with you. But now you can arrange to spend a proper day together another time, yeah?
