Thinking about someone who I haven't heard from for just over a year.
I don't know whether to message him or not, maybe some people are best left in the past?

Pulled up in my car with the radio on (normal level) my neighbour was getting out of a car too. Anyway my radio music seems to have inspired my neighbour to go inside and put his sound system on high. ffs. 11.30 in the morning.

Just to know he is okay would be nice, we used to chat a lot but we just sort of lost touch.
He had a lot of problems and sometimes I felt like I was putting more effort into helping him than I was with myself, which perhaps isn't such a good thing.

^ Maybe you could send him a short message, you don't have to get too involved but it might help getting back in touch with your friend.

Looking up recipes for dinner tonight and keep coming across 'brown' onions in the ingredients, thinking 'oh well, i'll just use a standard onion ..'

I plucked up the courage to send him a quick message, but it hasn't been delivered to his phone yet.
For all I know he may have a different number now

I'm going to have to ban myself from buying crisps. I buy them with good intention of them being a now and again treat and they will last ages. Never happens :/

It's so annoying when there's something you really want to buy, but they never have it in your size. Restock 'em already

I need to get a teenager off of the playstation and out of the house. I need to get myself off of here and out of the house. What’s on at the cinema that a middle aged mother and a 15 old lad might like? Does such a film exist?

Just thinking how unhygienic a visit to the doctors is, to get in the door I have to push a big button which has been touched by every other disease ridden patient to enter the building and then I have to check in using a touch screen which also has been touched by every other patient.
I thought doctors were about preventing illness, not spreading it!

The 15 year old probably thinks he’s too cool for the animated film Coco, right? FYI, the title character is a 90 year old woman with quite severe dementia. My eyes got a little bit watery, it’s fine, it was dark. There’s a Clint Eastwood directed film about 3 commuters who prevent a terrorist attack on a train. There’s a reasonably competent action scene towards the end and a bunch of overdone sentimentality in the beginning and middle (I’m stereotyping about what I think middle aged women look for in films).

Thank’s for the advice Pablo, you’ve sold it to us (or me at least!)

Before seeing your review I was pondering over ‘The shape of water’ or ‘The black Panthers’ and would have passed on ‘Coco’ as being too kiddyish for a 15 year old but it sounds like it has some real depth to it. Most films are too babyish or too for a mum and teen to watch together but ‘Coco’ sounds like it ticks all the boxes. Thanks Pablo

Btw, nice to see you posting here

Thought I’d pop in for a bit!

Coco still has a whole bunch of stuff for kids (magical journey through the mexican netherworld, slapstick involving the kid’s skeleton friend) but there’s some good stuff in there! The shape of Water might not be to every 15 year old’s tastes and I’m not sure how Black Panther stands up for all but the most emotionally underdeveloped adults (which I can say because I’m one of them!) so I still think Coco is the most universally appealing film out at the moment!

Wondering when my internet will be activated. I'm going slightly up the wall not being able to stream anything, having to rely on the few days of BT Wifi with Fon I paid for, which was flakey at best and has now refused to work at all, and now resorting to tethering to my phone with its teeny tiny data allowance.

Should Plusnet tell me when it's active, via email or calling my mobile? Or is it, like, I'll call them on Monday and they'll say 'It's been on since last week, mate, here's your details.'

What do you do when you love someone but being with them makes you miserable because you spend the whole time thinking about how you're not good enough and terrified they're going to leave you?

Thank you Newbs. It makes sense but it doesn't stop me from feeling like this. My main issue is I was happy when I was single, and I'm not anymore. And he isn't the problem, I am.
