Cold in the shade today here in Liverpool. I cleaned the windows earlier on and it was nice enough in the front where the sun was shining, but bloody freezing around the back in the shade. Not long back from taking the dog for a walk and lots of people were wearing coats and gloves. Hard to imagine that only a couple of weeks ago I was snorkelling in bath-warm water and over 80 degrees of heat in Menorca. An extra blanket on the bed tonight I think.

PS, maybe I was freezing because I was out in shorts when doing the windows.

Tbh though I'd rather have the opportunity to warm myself up rather than have to cool down... I think.

I can feel that it's cold, but it's not cold enough for me to feel it yet (if you get what I mean )

I've been walking around outside all day in just a t-shirt (and some trousers/shoes obviously)

Do they work pretty well? I was going to get one but you have to vent the exhaust to the outside. Do you just vent yours out of the window?

^^ *I'll say nomore!!*

And Lee those a/c units are pretty good. My sister has a couple for her dogs. The hose is just the same as a tumble dryer one and you could squeeze it in a gap of a window so not to allow too much warm air in.

I HAVE to sleep necked.

I've just pictured myself totally necked jumping into bed with you while you have on the combined clothes of a NYC tramp, bag lady and Eskimo, with loads of woolie hand knitted garments, bed clothes and teddies, while I'm totally starkers like a giant pale human water bottle, or something.
