Default Bleedn' Kids!!

you know you're getting old when the youth of today start getting on 'yer tits,

post your mumps, grumps and moans about bleedin' kids here,....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~
been hearing my garden gate banging against the wall of my house an awful lot lately,
always looked out to see what was occurring,. but nowt,. couldn't see anything.
saw lots of new rubbish lying about my garden like cans of juice and crisp packs,
plus the gravel in my garden was all thrown about and dislodged
just worked out that a group of local teenagers have been using my garden as a new walkway to get from A-to-B,..
my car's parked in my (very narrow) drive, so they've probably been close to scraping past it, and my garage is always unlocked as the feckin' lock is broke so wasn't taking chances with that either,..
so,basically,. sod them..I thought.
so have placed my wheelie bins in a line, up against the gate,
hey-presto.. no more annoying kids using my garden as a right of way.
I'm sorry, I like children. They're the least horrible of all the people because they've not been messed up (yet)
also, they don't drive, and rude car drivers (usually in massive white kias/black range rovers) get on my nerves more than most people
I don't particularly have a problem with the youth of today, I just wish they'd pull their bloody trousers up!
When they guy next door rolls up with his son (next door are his grand parents - who also have been known to call him certain names and lose their temper with him)
He used to wind my old dog up through the gates, throwing stones and calling his name over and over and one of his new tricks is taking the handbrake off his dads van which tends to be pointing towards my car...hes only about 5!
I could stand kids more if ones like this didnt exist frankly
It's not really the children that are the problem. I tend to find it's the parents and their lack of parental skill more than anything…!
Shit, its the school holidays again already. They hang around everywhere in groups like Jehovah's Witnesses but slightly more sinister. I think they should get one day off a year at Christmas, then send them down the mines or up chimneys on the weekends. The Victorians had the right idea.
Nice.
The mother said nothing. If I had a kid that spoke to me like that , he wouldn't see daylight for a week .
that's shocking
I suppose some kids are raised as assholes, shame for society as they'll probably just get worse if no one ever teaches them how to behave
Mixed feelings about this sort of thing.
The trouble is, parents don't let their kids out on their own anymore because they are (understandably?) worried about pedos and so on, so they want them playing outside where they can see them. I went to the park with friends and even walked to school on my own when I was about eight. Nowadays social services would be having a word with my parents
Tell you what- why not march them down to the nearest park??? Just an idea. Or get them to do some chores.
Yes, its called a road..and what are roads for?.....Cars.
I like children, it***8217;s the parents that are the problem
Boisterous children in restaurants irritate me.
Every time we go out for a ***8216;quiet***8217; meal there***8217;s noisy kids running riot. It***8217;s not cheap eating out these days and it***8217;s a rare treat for many so it***8217;s not nice when it***8217;s spoilt by a noisy child at the next table whose besotted parent thinks the sound of a child - their child -shrieking is cute.
Some babies cry A LOT and as a parent you can***8217;t always do too much about that (apart from leave them at home with a baby sitter or stay in and get a take away - now theres an idea) But, from the age of two onwards there really is no need for a child to create a disturbance.
I used to distract my child by talking to him (not ignoring him while I constantly fiddled about on my phone) and I***8217;d even have a scrap of paper and a few crayons in my bag for a rare emergency. But, just a simple ***8216;Shhh, behave yourself or we won***8217;t ever come here again, everrr!***8217; was enough
Also, why can***8217;t kids these days manage to sit in their seats for the duration of the meal? Instead, they wander around the tables bumping into everybody and their parent is either oblivious or simply doesn***8217;t care that their little darling is annoying other people. Oh, and then there***8217;s the kids who stand on the chairs with their dirty shoes on! Never mind that someone else will want to sit on that chair afterwards in their new dress! Grrr, what is the world coming to!
Sorry about the vent. I feel better now
^ This annoys me too Muggins I've seen parents just let their kids run up and down in restaurants whilst staff are trying to walk around with plates of food So dangerous.
Kids that try staring you out as you pass. I'm not a tough guy but I'm pretty sure I can kick a twelve year olds ass...pretty sure lol so where they think that kind of behaviour will lead them is beyond me.
The older I get, the less I can tolerate adults and the more I love children. They make me happy when I'm miserable and nothing else will cheer me up. I often think I should've went for a career as a nursery teacher. Preschool children are the absolute best.
^ Yeah I agree. Pre school kids are full of such joy/wonder, innocence and curiosity (minus the odd tantrum!). I had so much fun being a play worker with that age group.
I can't say I feel the same about older kids :/ - over about 8 to 10 years i'm not so keen.
