^I'm not sure, maybe being in pain all the time and needing to take medication to control may be the reason for depression.

Yeah you could be right . Tho the pain is less and Ive reduced how much meds i'm taking. But there's no doubt being in pain all the time gets me down.

Thanks biscuits, I'm ok ish.

I dunno the last couple/few weeks my depression seems to have intensified and I keep having strange dreams, falling asleep esp I get intrusive thoughts from out of nowhere. I could discuss it with GP I guess. It could equally be naproxen tbf as it has a lovely plethora of side effects too.

I've also been clearing out some of my dads things form storage, so whilst that doesn't account for the strange dreams and odd lethargy (also an increase in general anxiety) but could trigger depression/grief I guess. That and the stress of doing this Access course.

Isn't the politics on Facebook now mostly low resolution memes made by baby boomers?

My neighbour . Not the git below but the old guy opposite me. I just heard a commotion/voices so had a listen at my front door and seemed like my neighbour was being helped home by random ppl. Seemed to take him forever to get up the stairs but I peeped through my peep hole and my neighbour was swaying about trying to find his keys with his trousers round his ankles . He often gets drunk on a sat night but I've never seen him that bad. Thankfully he found his keys cause it looked ominously like his boxers were on the way south next

Oh I so need to get out of here.....

^^ You just reminded me of my neighbour, who died last year.

He used to come home drunk every night and spend about 10 minutes dropping his keys, talking to himself and failing to get them in the key hole.

I want to cut my hedge, so planning to get up and do it early while everybody else in the area is hopefully asleep.

Apparently I burned 1050 calories rowing today, I feel like I should eat a cake now.

Yesterday I'd hit 14k steps before lunch, so I ate 8 chocolate digestives and decided that should balance it out

It's absolutely chucking it down, so I'm saved from the hedge trimming

I'm trying to do intermittent fasting, but I'm hungry and bored, the solution to both being food. I can't even sleep when I'm hungry.

I'm thinking that a friend who I have repeatedly made excuses not to meet up with may have finally given up on me
Although the concerns about my bf getting funny with me have played a part in my avoidance I have to accept that I have mostly been ruled by my anxiety.

A bug flew up my nose on the way back from my ex's this morning and came out of my mouth 10 minutes later, dead.

I've decided I don't like intermittent fasting. I was hungry whenI went to bed last night which made it very difficult to get to sleep and I've been hungry all morning, but still have 2 hours before feeding time. I'm still going to give it a month, see if it grows on me.

I've only cut down to a 12-midnight eating window (mmmmmm eating window *drools*) to ease myself in. I normally eat from 6am.

It's so restricting being utterly inept in larger groups socially. My mind turns to mush and I may as well not be there, I'm basically a mute.
Unfortunately this is apparently the way people make friends so I feel I have to persist with this futile approach. How the fack do i just meet people 1 to 1 where I can actually hold a decent convo?

Hopefully you'll get more opportunities to be one on one with people as time goes on. Freshers is a lot of group stuff I'm guessing?

Most things are party and group focused at the moment. I went to a society meeting earlier but it was just a classic 20 odd people in a small room, chit chatting with me feeling clueless. I need something engaging to distract from the need to talk constantly. I would try more sports if my knee wasn't made of chocolate. Luckily there are a lot of options. I get on well with a few of my flatmates at least, although they want to partayyy whereas I don't. I'm trying to take part in the group chat for my course but even that's hard work.

So far I think I've done as well as I thought I could, I'm just worried everyone will find their friend groups soon and it'll be even harder than it already is.

These last 10 days have been so ****ing hard lol, part of me is just content that I haven't bailed already.

Going out this afternoon to eat poke and then browse ice skates. I was going to leave it to the day of the next lesson, but I think the risk of rushing would make me even more anxious about it. I just need to walk in and ask for help right away without even thinking about looking at the stupid display behind the counter.

At work today I said hello to someone and then said 'Are you ok, you look a bit sad'. I just feel a bit bad as I'd probably hate someone saying that to me and I keep going over it in my head wishing I hadn't said it, but it just sort of popped out. Probably just me making a mountain out of a molehill.
