Hi, I'm Andrew, 35 also from Lancashire. Got gypsy blood in me from both sides of the family, although I certainly don't claim to be a gypsy!

Enjoy cycling, squash, walking and anything outdoorsy. Into camping, the more remote and out of the way, the better. Have a small touring (not gypsy!) caravan these days, can still get to some pretty remote campsites in the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Although the Isles of Scotland are my favourite places and great for SA. Mull is my favourite, wild camping on a remote beach on the Atlantic coast. 7 days without seeing another human being can be blissful. The variety and abundance of wildlife also make it extra special.

Enjoy it most when I can spend quality time by myself. The shed at the bottom of the garden is perfect, sat round my fire, gazing at the night sky.

Hope to meet and talk to others on the forum. Recently joined and already benefitting from reading about other peoples experiences.

Hello everyone

Of Course I will. Always willing to share the experiences of our wonderful Island with like minded others as long as you can go halves on the diesel!

People think it's nerdy, but there something amazingly therapeutic about watching wildlife, especially birds. I find a deep connection to nature and it offers a much needed escape from people.

Hello Charlotte. *waves* I know how you feel about your age because I'm probably the same age or maybe one year less than you. I look it too, but in my mind I'm still 18.

I agree. Although I don't find it leads to anything because we're all too shy to write to anyone and say hi! Well I am anyway, but if anyone wants to write to me........

I'm always willing to try to chat with people, strangely tho, even when I consider myself to be a writer, I'm rubbish at email and the likes, lol
Don't know why that is....

*giggles* It's never straight forward is it, this writing to people lark? I don't like having too many people to write to cos I can't then keep up, but a few is nice. I'm too shy to make the first move though usually because I'll feel silly when if they turn me away!

I'm not honestly sure what Wrexham is like, but I'll take your word for it. It's a long time since I've been to Wales unfortunately.
