SA and alcohol support?

Hi. Long time since I posted here.

I wondered does anyone know of a community / group / charity that helps Social Phobics that have alcohol problems? All my searches on Google just bring up articles on why SA can cause alcoholism, instead of links for help. I'm not brave enough to sit in a circle with a bunch of people like a normal AA meeting.

I know where I am (West Sussex) that they have alcohol services (think there called CGL - Change Live Grow) for the county and now incorporate that support around individual needs. Including mental health. It might be worth googling alcohol services for the area you live in rather than sa and alcohol as I doubt there is any. You can always tell them you have social phobia and this is going to be an issue for you in terms of attendance.

I'm working on moderation (yeah that is never simple), and the soberrecovery forum is fantastic.
