I didn't say I didn't see it coming!

I said I liked the way it was filmed (the grass scene) and enjoyed the performance of the actor of the dad.

Oh! well I knew I remembered stars!
What a daft system.

How very dare you!

I am as listed above the Netflix oracle! I'll have you know

As it goes, I was quite sleepy when I watched it, so on my bed with my eyes dropping. I actually fancied watching it again more properly. The dad character was clearly off from the start tho. Your such a cynic.

Not surprised in a jumpy way, I just found it disconcerting.

Well it is often slim pickings on Netflix, with a few gems thrown in between the dross.

I'm enjoying Marianne. It's a French horror series, perfect for an October watch.
Although there some really annoying bits, (comedic music for the detective, those turning pages and I don't really care for the main character) the creepy scenes are done quite well.

Just finished El Camino. I enjoyed it, not earth shattering but good none the less.

Dolomite is my name.

it is a sound film and I much prefer Eddie Murphy in proper roles playing more complicated characters than just the comedy shtick stuff.

I liked and would recommend it but it didn't wow me. However it has really made me want to see the Dolomite film of the 1970's that it's about cause it looks ****ing crazy!!

Next in Fashion is very good - it builds on Project Runway by improving quite a few things, but it also gets some things wrong. The finale was great and my favourite from the start won so that's always nice.

The Pharmacist.

I did not fancy this but couldn't find anything much I wanted to watch. I really actually enjoyed it. The guy is a bit nutty but he gets it done. His kids killer 1st. Then the opioid crisis and pill mill doctor etc... Initially I thought God he's so annoying by the end I was like

I have been watching the Trials of Gabriel Fernandez. It's not an easy watch as its obviously horrific as a subject. That poor boy .
But I'm glad these people have been exposed including the sheriffs, social workers etc.. Thank God for that District Attorney who stood and fought for the voice of that little boy and not the politics, police force or any one else.

Don't watch if your easily upset though or are triggered by such subjects.

Interestingly one of the episodes (4 I think) explores the role of Maximus in the horror of events that happened to this poor little boy. There was an expert exploring how there is a mass exploitation of the poor and vulnerable going on globally through Maximus (and other corps) running public services. Was interesting.

Yeah, i know what you mean, my focus is awful much of the time too, and if that wasn't bad enough, i've just watched the recap (of season 2) and couldn't remember half of it - my memories shocking!

I suggest you do, if you've forgotten as much as me (whole ****ing characters!)

I'm beginning the 3rd episode, and it's still bat-shit crazy, lot's of plates spinning, scheming, etc. I'm liking it so far, but i may have to youtube a 5min recap of the second season just to make sense of some of it

O Zzzzzzzzzzz ark
It's probably not for you then , the first half hour is about the most exciting part of the first series , I finished the first season but never felt compelled to return.

Russian Doll is brilliant , it was quite well promoted when it was released but surprised how few have seen it

Money Heist . Entertaining enough to make you overlook the fact it's a paint by numbers heist film stretched over 3 seasons .

I also loved Happy! but everyone I've reccomended it to hated it

Anyone following the new series of Better Call Saul? It's a slow burner, way more so than Breaking Bad. But it's well done, lots of good acting, intriguing characters and relationships.

New episode out today. Shit will surely go down between Lalo and Gus.

^^ I think I know what you mean! It's a clever, layered performance from Bob Odenkirk. It must be strange and meta acting as a character, who's acting as a character.

^ yeah, I found the earlier seasons a bit dull at times. This season's been understated as usual, without much really happening But it's been an intriguing watch so far.
