Started getting into Educating Yorkshire.
I've come to the conclusion Yorkshire schools aren't much different from the Manchester ones, except ours was shaped like a prison with only a couple of ways to break out and I was a master at it. Mohaha! ~

Boardwalk Empire. Nice to see Van Alden finally going full badass, though I miss crazy old Gyp Rosetti.

The early ones are the best. I don't care for all this CGI stuff - far too slick for my liking. I like wobbly sets and naff monsters Same with Star Trek

Same, the CGI looks amazing, but there's just something about the old ones, especially the 4th and 5th doctor for me that just beats the new ones. Oh and there's nowhere near as much silly, childish humour in the old ones as well that's put me off Matt Smith's doctor. Though one of the monsters in the one I just watched (The Dalek Invasion of Earth) was just hilariously unscary, the Daleks even then were quite scary, but this one monster that briefly turns up has to be the least scary monster I've ever seen because of how naff it was

^I'm currently watching through season 4 of BB. It's been ages since I've become this addicted to a TV programme.

Obsessive compulsive cleaners

Seeing Louise's show house brings home the opinion that some people say of show room houses being lifeless. Whilst her home is nice and clean I was picturing the environment where I bet only obsessive cleaning goes on and nothing else, no people meeting her, not much relaxing or fun days etc.

Animal Odd Couples. One of the best programmes I've seen in a while. Certainly cheered me up after watching it.

Some examples of odd animal bonds on the programme are: a rhino with a sheep, a Cheetah (it may have been a Tiger) with a dog, and a cat with ducklings.

Its not exactly like a YouTube video or something, as it does have some Scientific views.

You can see it on iPlayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...les_Episode_1/

^I'm struggling to get into it, i think it's because I really don't like Nucky anymore.

Has it been a good season? Where would you rank it in relation to the other seasons?

Don't know where my previous post disappeared to, but I'd rank the seasons 2>4>1>3.

Well worth watching, though it takes a while to build up. Less Nucky too.

^Less Nucky is a definite plus for me.

You didn't care much for 3? 3 was my favourite season, mostly because of that brute Gyp, he made for good viewing.

I was a bit tired of the villan-of-the-season trope and he felt a tad cartoonish towards the end. It got a bit old how it seemed that in every scene he was in you felt he was going to do something horrible to someone.

I found it a bit slow at first too, but there are quite a few things I liked about the season: van Alden's arc, namely him turning full bad ass, Dr Narcisse, who I ended up liking though I wasn't a fan at first, and seeing more of other characters like Chalky and Al Capone, who were more peripheral in the other seasons. Also there's very little Margaret (thank Christ....)

I'd rank the seasons 2, 3, 4 then 1.
