Hello all , Dean here

Im new to all of this foruming stuff but have been looking a lot at all your threads you all seem a real friendly bunch , today im feeling good and positive so I want to know what are your passions and dreams

for example, I want to own my own car wash one day thats a passion of mine detailing cars ,

also I love singing but not good enough but when i was a kid it was my dream to be a singer ha in a boyband aswel oh my days! (cant believe im telling you this)

anyways whats yours it can be anything from having your own cake shop to writing a novel to something that you wanted to be when you was a kid a fireman a doctor or if you dont know then let us help inspire you

ha i have a 09 qashqai , i like the old festas and I dont know why but the Capris i need one ha thats all my pug does is eat and sleep , do you do the cars up like restoration or anything you seem to have a few ha

see im the complete opposite I look under the bonnet and my head explodes but when it comes to cleaning them im a perfectionist ha never been into bikes im 5ft2 so i couldnt fit on one i dont think haha

ha i thought about getting one of them mini motos about normal size bike for me and i so want to clean your car now you said that ha ocd kicking in yeah i learn most things from youtube i follow a guy called larry kinsella from ammo nyc aqll about detailing and protection inspires me tbh

yeah dittos watch all them vlogs or whatever you call em I clean them more for me they can be spotless and im like ill just clean the rims hahah ... but theyre made to be driven so ill let you off ha

Music,the net,food and words. I also like to binge on on travel pictures and clips (i'm currently in a 'Let us go to Hong Kong next year kinda mood) when i'm feeling positive.

I want to start watching films again next year as I used to consume em non-stop when younger

I am in to far many genres to list. Music is my first love-I am never far from a song.

Some songs i've enjoyed this year:Ronnie Jones - Video Games,Munk - Down In LA,Q Lazzarus - Goodbye Horses,Scott Walker - Jackie,Ennio Morricone -Once Upon A Time In America Soundtrack Suite,energy italo mix.

I like language so i've bought some books about wordplay,history of words and slang

Wow so many passions music is a big one i see music is a universal language it can change how you feel with a few notes and dont worry selina the trick is to try as many things as you can

Bums are my passion. (Women's bums obviously) They're amazing and fill me with utter joy and amazement. Truth.

Good food. Needs no explaining.

Nibbles aka Cheese, snickers bars, houmous (pronounced WHOmus up north). Life without cheese would be a joyless existence.

Learning....new skills. Currently classical guitar and how not to be a ****** in public.

Books..... Anything to do with history, psychology and the mind. Success, spiritual mumbo jumbo cause I get off on that shit. With the occasional novel if I can be arsed.

Torrents... cause who doesn't like their free shit.

I'm kinda disappointed with my list. I need some new hobbies. More action oriented that involve other people.

My real passions are (live) music and travel; there are other things which come close, but are probably strong interests rather than obsessive passions, like walking, cooking (I get more passionate about that when I have some on whom to try new recipes), trying new foods, driving (which I can't afford to do as much as I did in the past and I don't really have a car responsive enough to drive the way I prefer at the moment), experiencing new cultures (that's probably part of travel really, along with learning new languages), politics... I used to be passionate about football, but now seem to exist in a world where nobody else is interested in sport so have suppressed it, at least outwardly and I was also passionate about cycling until my cycle was destroyed when I got knocked off it and didn't get round to buying another for 25 years (at which point, I discovered it was much harder work than it used to be).

Music and writing mainly. I enjoy cycling and tech too though they are kind of second tier hobbies Cycling often makes me feel heaps better. Some of these have a light social component, others are ideal for those solitary moods. I don't think of any of them as passions though, but obsessions, because that is what they are. Not sure if there is much difference, tbh Follow your obsessions, people!
