Having spent much of the last few days trawling through his posts on that site, it would seem they already know he's a social phobe. They don't know that he's been taking photos of women with mental health issues and parading them about for public scrutiny without their knowledge or permission. Although, I don't think it'd be fair to announce that because it would cause even more potential grief for the women.

What a twunt though

Just reading the rest of that article, looks like the site as a whole is pretty unscrupulous. Still they have taken that thread down. It looks like their policy is a case of begging forgiveness rather than asking permission.

I just hope this muppet's idiodic actions haven't soured a lot of people on the site, and on the people who come here (particularly men as we've had that discussion before more than once). We've uncovered a bad apple obviously, but I still think 99% of people who post here are good people.

Definitely. This is especially true as a number of the women expressed their unease at posting their photos. It is one of the most basic problems of SA, the problem of feeling judged. In the threads YCM/Mince posted he exposed these women to their fears and, in some cases, may have confirmed their negative image of themselves.

I am disgusted by what has happened. I usually wouldn't comment on how I feel but I feel for every person that has been judged in this way.

He was also asked, twice, where he was getting the images from, but failed to mention he was taking them from a site for socially anxious people. If he thought it was ok I don't know why he'd be so coy about letting his "friends" know what he was doing.

I completely agree with that statement, which is why I don't understand how other members who apparently suffer from SA see no problem in posting pics of others on the internet without their permission and what kind of issues that may raise

I get it a lot on a site I help with as we expose trolls/fakes/players and nasties just like YCM on a big UK chat site. It goes with the job title, nasties turn nastier when exposed in my experience!

YCM is most likely watching all this unfold getting some sad kick from the devastation he has caused, usually you find thats how these people work!
