I hope you're okay Merritt

To my knowledge, lara left because she felt she had got all she could from the forum. I don't believe it was anything to do with feeling ignored.

^ Not really any of our business though is it?

Azi is the only one who can change a member's banner. So when another mod bans someone who has requested to be banned, it will initially say banned until it is changed by Azi.

Hello.

Yes, I'd like to be banned. If you could implement that, that would be great.

Right I better ban myself, too many people dislike me, and it's not good for mental health. So I'll go 24,48, 3 day, 7 day ban all your choice.

I don't know what's been going on, but I would wait til the morn, until you figure out what you want to do.
I have often asked to be banned, it's been put through/ sorted/ unsorted, totally fkd up, and here me is.

I bet you feel better in the morning.

Edit: I am not a mod.

I thought you were :D

Appreciate the reply. Just terrible day stemming from a terrible sleep yesterday. I'm happy with ban, or happy with no ban. I am cutting my usage here quite well, so I'll just keep on that objective.

Not sure if this is helpful/productive or not, but I know subject to settings that people can type @username and it flags the attention of that person with a message or email.

Might it be a nice feature that people could type @SAUKmods (or something) and it would draw Mods attention to a given comment as needed rather than people seeking separate and often private communication?

OFC this might become annoying/already exist/not be practical, but just a thought.

I suggested this ages ago and said i would implement it if needed, they discussed it and decided it would not be good.

I suggested it on the American SAS forum and they did implement it there, it is a very nice feature.

The workaround currently is to go to advanced search, enter your username, select show by post and search.

Advanced search then add your user name top right, keyword top left, select posts bottom left and search.

I get no results doing that, schmosby. I don't think the username box and keyword work together, it's one or the other, or at least it seems that way to me.

it works for me, if i pur your name on the right and the keyword 'test' on the left and select posts, I get posts by you with the word test.

Another way would be to search in google, if the post isnt recent.

What keyword are you after?

I tried with your name and a word from your last post and it didn't work either.

I was looking for posts i'd made about my cat. Although, having done a small search on my posts with ctrl+f, the letter combo of 'cat' appears in a lot of other words.

I searched with my name and the word 'keyword' and it resulted in the two posts above.

Which word did you search?

I believe the issue is that the search term 'cat' is too short, search terms generally need to be four or more letters. It's to do with a setting in MySQL databases which defaults at 4 or more.

Ah yeah, I just tried it again with a word longer than three letters and it worked.

Thanks for trying anyway.
