Hi all

I used to post here a while back, and after I came off, was doing well until I suffered a major setback a few years ago due to life events beyond my control. As a result my SA came back with a vengeance, along with severe panic disorder and agoraphobia
So I decided to pop back here to start reading/posting/engaging with likeminded souls, since I remember how much this website helped me
in the past.

Were you posting under a different username or do I just have a really crummy memory? (probably the latter!)

Most of us had added tinsel/Xmas lights/Santa hats to our avatars - those of us who were feeling Christmassy, that is.

I would keep it but I think September is a little early and I’m going to stick out like a sore thumb posting with this stupid hat on.
I just can’t get rid if it, or change pic . Very odd.
I’ll have to see if the mods can help ....

Re: my pic I’m not actually getting any error message.
I’ve successfully uploaded my original avatar (sans stupid hat) but when I check User CP the Santa one is also still there regardless, like it’s somehow stuck and it’s the one that appears when I post.
It’s a veritable mystery.

I was on the old board too (restless minds?) before we migrated to this one - I can still remember some quite convoluted and heated debates on there
And who could possibly forget kevcantona haha. Such a crazy character. We were PM/email buddies for a while. Gosh that really takes me back.

Turns out you were right and I was being stupid (nothing new there - my last remaining brain cell is only just managing to hang on for dear life)
