Hi Rochellet

Welcome to the forum! I can certainly relate to what you are saying. Unfortunately I'm still working on this myself. Over the years I've managed to cobble together a bit of standard dialogue to say to someone. Such as, it's clement weather we're having this time of the year, isn't it? And did you have a good weekend, is always a crowd pleaser, I find. Although if you ask that question in the middle of the week, then you might find that question isn't such a crowd pleaser. But again, I'm still a work in progress

anyway

You will find a lot of supportive members on this forum. And hopefully this forum will be helpful for you

Many of us have been there. I'm getting better at talking to people at work but I still have my anxious moments. I'm still anxious around extended family as I don't see them very often and we have little in common.

Hello Rochellet

Welcome to the forum. I can empathise with what you're saying....really struggle dealing with people in social situations and struggle keeping conversations going and my self esteem is at it's worst.
I would also recommend the Mental Heath Forum...Lots of people dealing with these kind of things and there's quite a community on there.
Best Regards
