Re: Requests for moderators' attention
Question: is forum jail even a thing here, where all posts get held back (posts that particular members make) until the mods or admin check them?
I can deal with it in the short term (days) but if it turns into weeks it triggers episodes of mental ill-health (just talking about my own mental health here) |

Re: Requests for moderators' attention
If a member genuinely starts to do stuff wrong (I not t talking about if staff start to power trip like mysupportforums), what steps get taken to make sure us bad members fall in line before any bans?
I never want to be a bad member, they decided I am ..... sigh |

Re: Requests for moderators' attention
^ If a member breaks a rule they will usually get a warning first to tell them the rule that they broke and that if they do it again they may receive a ban. Unless it's something very serious, then they may receive an immediate ban.

Re: Requests for moderators' attention
for the record, if at any point i do anything, please don't come down on me like a tonne of concrete cause that treatment makes me spiral very quickly - just saying so its on record, i don't intentionally do anything bad, i don't deliberately go out to be a bad member, if whoever's dealing with me stays calm and doesn't make a massive deal of whatever it was that i did, that's the best way to get me to fall in line - calmness and saying whats wrong as though its merely getting mentioned, not the "tonne of concrete" treatment

Re: Requests for moderators' attention
^ If you scroll down to the bottom of the main page there is a section that says "currently active users" which will show who is online. But only those who have chosen to be visible, many people choose not to be for obvious reasons.

Re: Requests for moderators' attention
whats this mean when i try viewing profiles
i don't understand what its saying i did wrong did i break a rule of its a forum crime to view profiles vBulletin Message ebonytigger, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. |
