The red dot next to your name means that you are using invisible mode. Only board staff and yourself sees the dot as red - everyone else sees it as grey (offline). If you want other members to know you're online, you can change the setting in User CP > Edit Options (dot next to your name will then show green to everyone whenever you're active on the site).

Oh dear, have just trawled back through this thread looking to see when I changed my username to realise I had all my old posts deleted

I think has been 6 months so can I have my name changed back to

(someone called me Margo this weekend and it sounded soooo wrong, am gonna just keep sid now tbh is closest to my real name)

Please be aware that we have a policy regarding username changes. Once you change your username, you cannot do so again for six months from the date of your last username change.
