Inattentive ADHD medication, what are you taking and what has been your experience?

Hi everyone, at sometime over the next couple of weeks I'll be getting the opportunity to see a mental health professional that may enable me to aquire an ADHD diagnosis a bit more quickly than if I'd just gone through my GP and waiting for a consultation. From everything I've read online the more I see how inattentive ADHD may have been major the stumbling block my whole life.

Would anyone care to share what meds they are taking, the mg daily dose, IR or XR, and the pros and cons?

How have the meds improved your daily life?

This is not an opportunity I want to stuff up so I need to be prepared and put my best case forward for treatment. I really appreciate this guys.
