I've decided it would be near Stroud, or Hereford. Or possibly near Southampton. Alas having family you are kind of condemned to live near them really, but life would be worse without them.

I wouldn't want to live in a city because there are too many people and it's to hectic! I would Like to live in a small seaside town that isn't too busy.

I wouldn't mind living in Pembrokeshire - frig knows why my Grandfather ever left there to come to this shithole of a town.

Preferably in Tenby.

In the country.

Can't imagine living in a city. Though if I had bags of money Oxford always looks rather nice (I'm saying this without really knowing the place in the slightest ).

I do love Scotland. Perthshire I've a huge soft spot for, it has a deep familiarity to me whenever I go back.

I reckon I could name a load of them. But not up North. Do they have sea up north?

^^If I had distant relatives there, they wouldn't remain distant for long!

I'm never going to be able to live somewhere nice. Unless i become a hobo, then i'd go somewhere nice and be a hobo there.

Too many to name..Birmingham isn't the loveliest place although I like what the city has to offer..I've always liked the countryside around the Herefordshire / Wales border..so possibly there.

I live in Liverpool and can't think of another UK city that I'd prefer to live in more. It's quite a vibrant place but not too big and overwhelming. We have great beaches/dunes/pine woods just north of the city and lovely countryside all around us. By car we are also an easy drive from such magnificent places as Snowdonia, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. If I didn't live in the city it would be one of those three areas where I'd like to live.

For what reason do I live/stay here?
Well, we do have some knobheads here (hasn't everywhere?) but overall the city is very friendly and one of the safest in the country. Quite a lot goes on for such a relatively compact city. I've not come across a city in this country that I prefer to live and neither has my partner, and she has lived and worked all over the place. When we do eventually move it will be abroad rather than to somewhere else in England.

If money wasn't an issue I'd be happy enough in Brighton. It's not very big but there's lots going on and it has the south downs and the sea either side of it.

If language wasn't an issue then I'd live in Berlin or Stockholm.

Realistically, I'll be moving to Manchester, Liverpool or possibly Leeds next year.

My ex recently bought a property in the city center. When she went to see the it she thought it was very quiet there.

I may well go stay there for a while if the flat becomes vacant, see what I think of it.

Well I'm not really a city person, but I kind of do want to live in London, in theory surrounded by more open-minded, progressive types than here in 'Middle England' and much more diverse in terms of culture and people too.

Camden - it would be fun to live there.
Cambridge - it's gorgeous, but too expensive.
Port Isaac - as above.
I've always been tempted by Westward Ho! for that very reason. My wonder on work experience when I took a letter I was due to send that was addressed to that magical place to my looker-afterer thinking the exclamation mark was a typo but soon learning that no, that actually was its name.
