What do you have for lunch?

Nothing, unless I'm out walking/hiking, in which case it'll be a quinoa or couscous salad, or maybe a sandwich, plus a piece or two of fruit.

Usually protein heavy as I lift weights, which has become a bit of a burden and can get expensive. So something like eggs, chicken, tuna, etc. I love smoked salmon for lunch. Also a lot of fruits and/or veg. The type of carb will depend on which protein I'm having on that day. Lunch is also my biggest meal of the day because I do intermitent fasting and get monstrously hungry, so a 6-8 egg omelette isn't uncommon for me.

Usually a sandwich*, banana and maybe a yoghurt, in the week.

*cheese and maybe tomato or avocado or something.

I'm finding it a bit repetitive tbh.

A mix of different things really! Ever since the pandemic, I prefer things to eat with a spoon or fork, or that can be held with foil!

Regular things I have at work are: various soups, porridge, salad and something like falafel, pasta, hummus and something (carrot, cucumber, peppers), wraps, chilli hummus and Riveta, cheese and crackers, beans on toast.

Then I’ll have some sort of fruit - pineapple, melon, grapes, blueberries, strawberries. I usually have a packet of popcorn or crisps too.

I usually have a handful of nuts, and some sort of pasta and salad.

I find it hard to cook when it's only for myself. I just end up picking at things. I had so many meal plans that went out the window.

Lunch at work is a sandwich, some crisps and a couple of pieces of fruit.

On a Friday I push the boat out and have a pie/pasty or sausage roll for a change

How come you don't have lunch? And how do you do that? Lunch is my favourite meal, apart from breakfast and dinner, and I quite enjoy snacks too

I'm not usually hungry at lunch time plus i snack a lot during the day.

Salad mostly now I'm over 30 and my metabolism has abandoned me.

Sometimes crisps that are under 70 calories a bag too (see Space Raiders, PomBears or Cheetos puffs). I don't even remember what a non-multipack bag of BBQ beef Big Hoops looks like.
