Re: Requests for moderators' attention
I hope you're okay Merritt
To my knowledge, lara left because she felt she had got all she could from the forum. I don't believe it was anything to do with feeling ignored. |

^ Not really any of our business though is it?
Azi is the only one who can change a member's banner. So when another mod bans someone who has requested to be banned, it will initially say banned until it is changed by Azi. |

Hello.
Yes, I'd like to be banned. If you could implement that, that would be great. |

I thought you were :D
Appreciate the reply. Just terrible day stemming from a terrible sleep yesterday. I'm happy with ban, or happy with no ban. I am cutting my usage here quite well, so I'll just keep on that objective. |

Re: Requests for moderators' attention
Not sure if this is helpful/productive or not, but I know subject to settings that people can type @username and it flags the attention of that person with a message or email.
Might it be a nice feature that people could type @SAUKmods (or something) and it would draw Mods attention to a given comment as needed rather than people seeking separate and often private communication? OFC this might become annoying/already exist/not be practical, but just a thought. |

I suggested it on the American SAS forum and they did implement it there, it is a very nice feature. The workaround currently is to go to advanced search, enter your username, select show by post and search. |

Re: Requests for moderators' attention
I tried with your name and a word from your last post and it didn't work either.
I was looking for posts i'd made about my cat. Although, having done a small search on my posts with ctrl+f, the letter combo of 'cat' appears in a lot of other words. |

Re: Requests for moderators' attention
I believe the issue is that the search term 'cat' is too short, search terms generally need to be four or more letters. It's to do with a setting in MySQL databases which defaults at 4 or more.
