Phoned the council to get my old sofa disposed of. My gods, they have one of the most irritating phone systems I have ever used. It spends ten minutes telling me everything I just read off their website, then the address of their website I just used to find out the number to call, then a twenty minute wait with crackly music that sounds like they've shovelled gravel into an old gramaphone horn with frequent reminders to check their website, from which now most services are apparently available (except of course the one I'm phoning about, ha ha)
And I didn't kill myself or anyone nearby during this process. Give me a Nobel Peace Prize now.

Went to the gym at 6am, think I could make this a routine since the gym was empty.

I travelled to London on Saturday, as a 25 year old I couldn't imagine leaving the house and assumed that those walls were my life. At 30 I completed a milestone on my path to over coming agoraphobia. I handled the tube trains and everything else.

My life has changed so much since I joined here.

ive finally gone over my manager at works head and complained about her. hopefully my mind isnt going to run away with all the anxious implications of this, this is a really big deal for me to be doing this. in my understanding, rather than do stuff like this a lot of people would rather just leave a job. kinda tricky for me though, that one

meh. being brave doesnt feel very nice

so my eyelid was twitching for months and now i dare to say that it has stopped. i'd like to take credit for this 100% since its my eyelid and it stopped twitching.

I wonder if it is connected to my diet. I had been cutting calories and losing some weight. either this was stressing out my right eyelid, or i've heard that all sorts of weirdness can be stored in your body fat. maybe red bull was leaking out of my love handles and frying my little lids. anyways i have upped my calories by quite a bit recently so maybe thats it. when i wind the calories back down again i'll see if i start strobing again

also my ears feel all funny today and thats not an achievement

^ Magnesium deficiency can cause little twitchings, among other things: maybe your increased intake of food has helped.
Also, too much caffeine can deplete magnesium.

I moved into my new home yesterday. I'm hearing and whispering and having flashbacks but I've managed to keep busy and put together furniture and unpack boxes today.

I supplement magnesium, im just thinking it was a random thing really. Ive had it before when drinking too much caffiene but i barely have any these days and it persisted a long time. Felt like i was flirting with everyone, fluttering dem lashes ***8361;_***8361;

I organised a little goodbye drinks for a colleague who's moving on. I had to shepherd a number of difficult people to attend it, as well as of course attending it myself! He seemed to feel valued from it all :-)

^ Nice one ghost of an englishman

So I have a massive fear/phobia/avoidance of trains. Well train stations and everything that goes with it. I think because I never used trains growing up I feel like i don't know what i'm doing and I get immediate SA.

Today I dropped my car of at the garage (more sa inducing stuff) and got a train to Arundel. Proper heart thumping, legs shaking stuff for me. The station is rural and v quiet which helped but the train was from London so packed to the rafters. Got on had a moment and sat down. Still sat there worrying about every little detail of things but I managed.

Had a wander round Arundel, it was surprisingly quiet, it's such a lovely place to visit. Bought a bag of chips and sat by the river. The return journey was much easier, I was still nervy but the train was delightfully empty going back.

Definitely need to make myself do more things like this. Probably doesn't sound like much but train travel is a serious phobia for me.
