The 10 Ingredient Sandwich Game
It's simple really: we've two imaginary pieces of bread per round and we take it in turns to add one ingredient of our choice to make an imaginary sandwich. Once ten ingredients have been added, the person who contributed the last ingredient begins a new sandwich with a new ingredient.
Consider that the sandwich will be built upwards, and so the first poster's ingredient will lay upon the bottom slice of bread, and the last poster's ingredient will be situated directly underneath the top piece of bread. Use your culinary prowess to compliment the last poster's ingredient with a suitable accompaniment, or be as daring as you please and sabotage a pretty solid bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich with a tablespoon of marmalade. The only rules are: (1) Two slices of bread per sandwich. The first poster can specify which type of bread is being used, but if they do not, plain white bread will be implied. Sandwiches may be percieved as being buttered or unbuttered, depending on individual preference. (2) The ingredients must be edible foodstuffs such as meats, fruits, vegetables, dairy, condiments, preserves, etc, that, through preparation or not, could reasonably be placed in-between two slices of bread, regardless of the popularity of the ingredients in question. (3) Each sandwich must contain exactly ten ingredients, and no single sandwich may contain the same ingredient twice. So, let's see if our first sandwich is a delicious masterpiece or a horrible abomination. I'll kick things off with the very simple but beloved... (1) Mature cheddar cheese |
