Not wasted. Fighting talk is good. It was good to read, I have to keep reminding myself of exactly those thoughts all the time.

I really don't get what the point is in being so cautious and afraid. Here I am wasting my life because I'm "protecting" myself from everything. Why? What is all this protection I'm getting doing for me? Nothing whatsoever. Later on in life I'll probably get screwed over by genetics and be stuck in a hospital bed, if/when that happens I'm going to be regretting not doing more for myself earlier on. Why? Because I've been a coward, afraid of every little thing.

At the end of the day it won't matter how much "protection" I've given myself because the end result will be the same regardless. Am I going to live longer by doing this? Meh, probably not so why do it? It's much more worth it trying to live, challenging yourself, making something happen and looking back and thinking "I've got the most out of my time" than sitting there holding yourself back because somebody might (or not) think you're weird for merely saying hi to them. Do you want to be left feeling proud of what you've done or would you rather regret not doing more? I think the latter has more appeal personally.

My typical day is pretty much, browsing SAUK or other forums, eating, drinking, sleeping, playing games. This is shit, this is boring, this gets me nowhere but I do this because these are the only things I don't find a challenge, this is easy mode. Easy mode is fun for a while because you keep winning but eventually it gets boring, repetitive and tiring. So, I need to step up the difficulty. It may be really hard to start with but I'll learn from my mistakes, get better at it and eventually I'll feel ready to step up the difficulty again, but if I sit on easy mode then no such progress will be made, it will remain boring and tedious. Yeah life isn't a game, you don't get 3 more lives if you go seriously wrong so you have to be more careful but not too careful, if you're too careful then you will be heading back to square one again.

The main point of this is: there really isn't much gain in all these safety behaviours, it just leaves you (or me anyway) depressed, bored and living with regrets. Some of these behaviours can be justified but a lot of them can't.

Cool, just wasted like 30 minutes. But that's 30 less spent on F5ing SAUK at least.
This is for you sir

Over coming SA is harder at first apparently. I need to start overcoming this as well.

It would be good if I was able to repair my pc and get it running smoothly.

My desktop wouldn't start up and I'm just guessing how to repair my pc and selecting whatever option I can see. The pc wouldn't even allow me to restore, now I've decided to restore my pc to factory setting s but but backed up some data.

The one thing I obsess over more than anything else is understanding why a particular person treated me the way that they did. It would have been so easy for them to just tell me what went wrong and let me get on with my life, instead they insisted that none of it happened the way I remembered it and they had done absolutely nothing wrong. Unless I actually am completely delusional this was a blatant lie. I just don't understand how anyone could hurt someone so much just for the sake of denying their own guilty conscience.

Never mind me, I've got the house to myself all week so all the emotional shit that I hide from the rest of my family is coming out now, and posting here helps me organise my thoughts and calm myself down a bit.

I actually fixed the pc but now everything, including updates have gone. I'm not sure how that'll go with my sister but at least the pc is clean (i think) and I'm using ie7, everything deleted probably since 2008. It's probably gonna take long to update everything now.
