Re: What's your favourite David Bowie song?
Heroes is probably my favourite.
I also like his 80s stuff, particularly Let's Dance. It doesn't seem as well regarded as his earlier music, but I still like it. |

Bowie will always be great. Not as great as Kate Bush though! The feminist influence out masculised dying sexual culture needs. ****ing whoops!

Re: What's your favourite David Bowie song?
Sorry, I meant our dying culture needs feminised artists of considerable reach, wisdom and power, not pedants who glorify advertising, sexual suffocation and and human abuse, like Adele, Amy (****)Whinehouse, & Rihanna. Bowies OK though. **** this ****ing culture. Too much to drink.

This stupid forum should stop censoring swearwords. It's not as if anyone here needs protecting from corruption, and even if that was the case, you wouldn't rely on the twats who run this sorry website.

Re: What's your favourite David Bowie song?
Favourite David Bowie song? That's a really tough one. I could probably name five that I like equally.
Changes, Starman, The Man Who Sold The World, Space Oddity and Life On Mars are probably the top five. Blue Jean would also be a contender... If I really had to pick just the one, it would have to be Starman. It's an incredible song. I dread to think how many times I used to sit and listen to it over and over again as a child... I don't think it would be fitting to pick another one, really! I never really understood the hype behind 'Heros'. That's usually one of his songs I skip though***8230; I accept I'm probably the only person in Britain who doesn't really like it. |

Re: What's your favourite David Bowie song?
Rebel rebel. That video of a stadium of musicians playing it is the video of the year, amazing.
Edit: still gives me goose bumps. Such a varied set of musicians and crowd. Makes me really happy to see them happy as many will have their own issues. Watch it, you will smile I guarantee. They also did a Foo Fighters one. Last edited by Mat999; 13th December 2016 at 12:36. Reason: Added video |

What did y'all think of the black star album? Did you even bother? I listened to it and wanted to love it but...maybe it's a grower?
