Went to my first meet

So after years of 'maybes', 'oh sorry I couldn't make it' and crap excuses, I finally attended (well, hosted actually) my first ever meet. Though despite being crap at it, I still hosted it, so does that count?

I don't care anyway, I still want a damn trophy (even if it's one of them shitty plastic ones you get for achieving something that's rubbish and what no-one cares about).

don't be down on yourself, man. it's a really big thing to show up at these meets for a first time, seriously, lay off yourself! no matter what, you did well. it's a first step and it takes guts.

take that digger-shaped trophy out and rip some shit up! you are kicking teh ass, and that's all there is to it

I met Lostboy, Oatmeal, black_mamba, amberfirez, Boo (someone who doesn't post but goes to meets, or something like that) and Mortigantoj. I think that's all of them.

Sounds like a nice little crowd for your first meet. I would have considered going but for a local meet nearby me but sounds like you had enough. Well done for arranging and hope its the first of many for you.

I always get a tingling feeling whenever I unlock an achievement. Just seeing that green Xbox logo flash up is all I need, really. So thanks, muteme. Though I'm sure I saw it once the meet was over - just popping up vaguely in my peripheral vision...

Well done for attending (and arranging!) your first meet. It was a good one so you did a good job!

I remember after my first meet I felt really annoyed at myself for not having spoken much. If it's your first ever meet it's a really difficult thing to attend in the first place and it is extremely difficult making conversations with a group of strangers!

Even now I find I can't really make conversations with members of the group I don't know - which makes me feel bad as I want to talk to the new people there.

But anyway - here's a trophy for attening your first ever meet and for your skills at bowling!
