I haven't visited this thread for far too long, but it's great to see all the achievements here, well done everyone (yes, I know that sounds patronising, but I do mean it).

In particular, I'm pleased to see that Pink*Lady, Captain Crunch, anxiouslondoner and Schmosby (from the more recent posts) all had some positive social interaction going on.

It wasn't today and I don't really know if it counts as an achievement, but earlier this week, I had to deal with Greek police and then the British Embassy in Athens after my passport was stolen and I had to obtain a police report and get emergency travel documents so that I could get home; there was a knock-on effect to that too, as I needed to notify all the agencies (airlines, coach companies, tour guides etc.) involved in my trip to South America next week, as I will have to use the same documents for that, as there is no time to replace my passport before travelling, so they all needed to know that my details have changed (which is why I've been so quiet on here since returning from Athens).

Blimey, well done for getting through all that! That would be my idea of a total nightmare.

Hope you have a nice time in South America.

For the first time in my life I had a proper job interview and actually landed the job!! I'm kind of shocked lol. I've had several jobs, but they have all come from agencies and stuff. This is a job I actually applied for. Gosh. My 0% job interview record is finally over. Happy days. Gee whizzz yabba dabba doo

I didn't want to go overboard with a new thread, because it may all still be an elaborate prank on me. Also shyness.

I went to a shopping centre place for the first time since I was 14!!! I***8217;ve always associated the place with having a massive panic attack and then another time a man exposed himself at me!
I***8217;m really pleased I got through that today, and CBT.

Not sure it's much of an achievement but at peer mentoring course today we had to do this kind of information sheet on a mental illness, (PTSD) and then talk about it to everyone else briefly.

I've had to do presentations in the past for courses which I can't bear (I once did one with 1/2 shot of whisky to make me speak ). This wasn't as in depth as a presentation but my partner wouldn't do it, so I read it all and kind of paraphrased a bit here and there. It was surprisingly alright. Didn't start shaking and only a vague hint of blushing, still had a few palpitations but even so i'm chalking it up as not bad.
