A new laptop though not a latest model(chose one that runs Windows 7 as I'm wary about Windows 8 and my ability to use it - what with it being a radical departure? It has option to upgrade)

An new, relatively innocuous cardi:

But what's special about it is that it was £13ish, reduced from £45. Can't say I don't have an eye for a bargain. And not a synthetic fibre in sight.

Straws. Because as much as I may try, my addiction to Pepsi Max isn't going away, and if I do continue to drink it, I need to do so in the same way dental hygienists do on their breaks from telling people not to drink it, so that my teeth and gums don't explode, or whatever it is they do upon frequent consumption. (My sister used to work at a dental practice, so I have it on good authority that this is what all dental hygienists do, all day long. It's also the main reason they lay you down in the chair and get you to stare at the ceiling, so they can swig coke from a straw without your knowledge.)

This vintage 1960s/70s Lucas L678 'Acorn' beacon, which I'm currently restoring to be as good as new. (I collect old beacons and roadworks lights).

I can just imagine some poor little old lady falling down a manhole because someone stole the lights and sold them to you

What sort of dogs do you have? Steff loved those but they didn't last long at all.

Some groceries from the high street, and various other things such as withdrawn books which the library sell. Duck tape too.
