Because as much as I may try, my addiction to Pepsi Max isn't going away, and if I do continue to drink it, I need to do so in the same way dental hygienists do on their breaks from telling people not to drink it, so that my teeth and gums don't explode, or whatever it is they do upon frequent consumption. (My sister used to work at a dental practice, so I have it on good authority that this is what all dental hygienists do, all day long. It's also the main reason they lay you down in the chair and get you to stare at the ceiling, so they can swig coke from a straw without your knowledge.)
