Thinking of starting a club

I am still struggling to make a life for myself here even though its been over a year. I am thinking of starting a social club to try and make some connections locally and generally.

I am thinking of calling it "The Displaced Peoples Club" or DPC. Would anyone like to join? I was thinking it would be a club for people who are...not belonging anywhere else.

Sounds like a great idea to me! A while ago, someone near me started a meetup group called "Friendless" and it attracted a great many people; sadly, the person concerned was too socially anxious to organise any events so it died quickly, but the response was enough to show that the concept was good.

There are so many people looking for something to help them make connections and so few people with the courage and drive to start something.

Pizza in the park club.Many years ago when i was temping a chappie from an adjoining office would invite all in my office to this lunch time club...but not me and i really like pizza.
