I used to have a friend who preferred Subway to any other high street fast food place. It's called 'Subway' as a play on the fact they sell 'subs', which is short for 'submarine sandwiches'. It's an American style of sandwich which is absolutely huge. A foot-long sub is a whole meal in itself and even the 6" subs are pretty substantial.

What is andropause? By the time men are between the ages of 30 and 55, they can experience a phenomenon similar to the female menopause, called andropause. We know that women experience a decline in hormone levels as they get older. We never wanted to believe that it also occurred in men as well. Both are similar in the fact that they are distinguished by a drop in hormone levels. Estrogen in the female, testosterone in the male. Imagine having less of the core component that Makes You A Man. Millions of American men are experiencing this very thing. Their quality of life suffers immeasurably and they don't know what to do about it.

The steady decline. Starting at about age 30, testosterone levels drop by about 10 percent every decade. At the same time, another factor in the body called Sex Binding Hormone Globulin, or SHBG, is increasing. SHBG traps much of the testosterone that is still circulating and makes it unavailable to exert its effects in the body's tissues. What's left over does the beneficial work and is known as 'bioavailable' testosterone.

Andropause is associated with low ("bioavailable") testosterone levels. Every man experiences a decline of bioavailable testosterone but some men's levels dip lower than others. And when this happens these men can experience Andropausal symptoms:

Low Sex Drive and Libido
Changes in attitudes and moods
Physical fatigue and decreased energy
Decreased Erectile Function
Decreased Orgasm Strength and Frequency
Decreased physical agility
Decreased muscle mass
Loss of muscle strength
Increased upper and body fat

I do. It's complicated, there is just so much going on. The tumour was present at birth but grew larger and taking those steroids didn't help. The problem is not in the tumour, not the main problem. The main problem is in my nuts, they're totally shut down.

Cheers. remember when I went to America just before this Christmas? I went to see the best HRT doctor in the world. He's the one who ordered me a shit load of tests. I couldn't get Bioavailable Test or DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) in the UK. It's mad all this hormone crap, but the fact is it needs sorting out asap. My Test is low. The hormone which made me who I was. The hormone that brought me up. The hormone that made me have sex. The hormone that made me fight. The hormone that brought out my anger. That hormone is low.

My male hormone is low.

They do. That's what I hate about the UK. There are guys on US BB forums, 18 years old and on TRT. Over here it's a joke. You need to find that one doctor who understands. The NHS stinks because it costs them too much money. I don't have private medical insurance. this is what I need. To go private.

I'm working on that one now. But the problem is blood tests. I'll need regular blood tests and it costs a fortune. The Tests aren't cheap. Testosterone blood test I ordered cost me 115 pound. (my pound sign on keyboard doesn't work). bioavailable Testosterone costs almost 300 quid.

It's hard because I can't just stick needles in my ass and thigh without regular blood tests. Without blood tests, it's hard work.
