About to buy a rucksack I don't really want to buy because I've left my bag somewhere and I need a bag and apparently satchels/messanger bags aren't cool enough for ASOS to have a decent range of anymore.

Been painting the exterior of my back porch, had to stop earlier than I'd normally do as the midges were chowing me to bits

s'been good getting out though, been out in my garden every night for the last week or two, beats hiding behind the blinds (my usual evening )

After work I watered the allotment, made tea, showered, planned food for next week and placed Tesco food order including Father's Day present, and blow dried great big thick hair. Now only an hour to bed

Hiding in my office because I know there's a pain in the arse customer out in the shop. The volunteer out there has tremendous patience though so I know she'll be fine.

Thanks yeah, wasn't really a treat as such, my old one kept over heating and shutting down, was knackered.

Having a panic. Holy Christ. Was about to wash the dishes and there was a thud/plop by the windowsill, then up popped quite possibly the biggest hornet I've ever seen. Ran out of the kitchen and shut the door, but had to go back in as i'd left the tap on. Jeezus it was so big i'm surprised it can fly. Suppose i'll have to go back in.....

I've stood and chopped veg and bung on the bolognese to simmer - no sign of it. I'm hopeful it went back out the window. I'm keeping the kitchen door closed tho just in case.

^^ You can get a special trap/carrying case from the Cats Protection where you put some food in one end of it and when the cat goes in for the food the door shuts and then you can take them to the vets in that. They do seem to calm down quite a bit after being spayed!
