Not feeling like going out... but I feel like I should, though I expect I won't actually enjoy it so what's the point? I'll probably feel worse staying in though. Choices choices, all of them wrong.

Happy birthday, Indigo

Yeeeeesss, managed to distract myself and not notice when it turned midnight, avoiding the depressing 12 bongs that climax in some sort of anti-orgasm. Get in. It's all downhill from here.

And happy new year, everyone! Remember, the resolutions don't start until you wake up, so stay awake and be bad...

I feel like consuming large amounts of alcohol to distract me from going back to work tomorrow..but I'll be sensible..I'll only have a bit

It's always a delicate time of the year as I'm in the right mindset to just walk out even though it will cripple me for years

Sigh, I really dislike life

I texted a work colleague earlier about something that happened at work that he may have to deal with tomorrow, no reply .
I would've at least replied 'ok thanks for letting me know'

Been depressed and anxious since the birth of my son in July. Not sure how to get through this episode. I'm thinking about telling the occupational health dept at my work about my mental health, something I don't want to do, but I feel I'm going to need help with this, as I'm struggling. Just want to die.

I've been thinking about this a lot.
At what point in someone's mind do they think they would like/want children? What is it??
It's hard to explain what I mean .
I have never had the thought that I want them so it's beyond my thinking how one day someone thinks it's a good idea to have one.
If I got accidentally pregnant I would be straight down the clinic demanding to have that parasite removed.

How does someone think it's a good thing to have a demanding screaming crying kid at your feet, how is it a good thing? How?
I honestly think there's something missing from my female mind , that thing that makes other females go 'aawwww isn't he cute' it's bizzare to me.

For some people it seems to be something they always know they want, even from a young age. For others it kicks in at a certain age, I think it must be something biological. Or sometimes people meet their partner and then they think "I want to create a family with you".
Personally I'm like you, I've never had the "I want to have a child" moment. I sometimes have slight biological feelings but my logical brain overrides them!

I'm so confused with the days. I had it totally in my head that as I had a counselling appointment today it was wed (my usual day). Just checked what time thinking it was 10.30am and discovered it's actually at 1pm because it's actually Thursday and I'm supposed to be volunteering this s'morn at cat sanctuary.

On the plus side. I reckon our pregnant cat may have given birth by now ( I missed last week). #kittencuddles

Thanks so much guys. You're so kind.

@Biscuits- yeah I wondered if it's PND without really knowing what it was, but the articles has pretty much convinced me it is.

Mamma cat is still pregnant. Poor thing, she is a tiny cat but massive at the min and has been for the last 3 weeks. Everyone's concerned how long it's going on for. Hope she'll be ok.

Hmm

Sat at home dogsitting as the parents have had to rush to hospital as my last remaining grandparent's heart and breathing have apparently gone to shit.

Working out if no news is good news..I mean its been 4hrs now..surely you'd know something..I have no idea whats going on..getting a bit worried although I think most people who were around her saw this coming and share the same view this is probably it. I mean shes nearly 90..although I hadn't seen her in a few years as she went down the dementia route and had no idea who I was anyway...bleh.

edit

Ah nuts, basically been told to expect "that phone call" some point tonight.
