Freedom has arrived!
hey everyone
 I just found this place, I've had SA for the last 6 years which has really restricted the fun I can have in life. I've missed out on a lot and packed in a few jobs becasue of it but right now I'm working to free myself from this rubbish. Trying lots of things, such as meditation (dynamic meditation with catharsis is a help) and more exercise. I'm recently got a job where i'm living with a community of people, it's tough going but I'm seeing an improvment. Some days I don't talk to anyone, other days I surprise myself. I have literally no self confidence so this was always going to be a challenge but hey, gotta stay positive, right? anyway, just thought I would say hi!...hi! |

then welcome to the forums to
 yeah its worth a shot, i did an introduction to meditation course not long ago and it helps! it's all about confronting and overcoming our automatic responses to things (like social situations, or fear of people, etc) by sort of detatching yourself from the thought and just watching it float by without getting caught up on it. its not easy but yeah, it does work. where you from livi? |
