All the fathers day posts on Facebook yesterday. You could just send a text, and not make the people who don't have fathers feel bad. If you want to show your appreciation for your father then go see them, no need for pointless social media posts.

^ That's what I did, just texted my Dad. I don't need to say things infront of other people on Facebook!

I thought exactly the same. Even worse when they put a post up on Facebook with pictures and their dad doesn't have a Facebook account. I just sent a text to mine.

Unfriended because you didn't say Happy Birthday through Facebook?

I don't understand their point. If you'd mentioned another politician would they have unfriended you? It's your account at the end of the day, unfriending you for mentioning a topic that interests you so much seems a bit childish to me. If someone mentioned football results a lot would they also have been unfriended?

Is it because this was about Jeremy Corbyn (more anti-Corbyn hysteria) or were you really mentioning him that much?

^ Hmm, I think maybe it was a general dislike of Corbyn along with me mentioning him a lot, which I do I'll admit that. Each to their own, some people don't like politics full stop.

The debates? I can't watch them, they'll just make me get irate and there's no point when they can't hear me.

The whole thing's winding me up. More so after having seen some of the anti-left/liberal drivel going around at the moment. "We'll show those lefties", "suck it up snowflakes" etc etc..........you get the picture.

I do unfortunately. Apparently Conservatives are also complaining that the BBC was biased in the way the debate was handled, but were they expecting to only have members of the public asking questions who were Conservative supporters?! I really don't know.

^ Many conservatives would be happier if the liberal left permanently shut up for good, despite them claiming to support free speech and accusing us of suppressing theirs.

They seem to forget that this vote effects the entire country, regardless of the political party in question. Besides the Tories are long overdue for a serious grilling.

Indian call centres and their various (hopeless) means of communication,
They're good at charging you and sending you incorrect bills etc. But sorting out THEM overcharging you or THEM making mistakes is a bloody nightmare,

My latest problem is them overbilling me without any say, warning or permission, and now trying to sort it, when one simple call to someone who can actually answer a phone and speak English and be willing to listen to their customer would sort the whole thing in a minute,...but noooo,
I have to jump through countless silly hoops before I even get the chance to talk to anyone,..

I got quite hopefull when they started a text help-service and texted my EXACT problem very succinctly and clearly,...nope, "I'm sorry, I don't understand, please type A B or C to the following question "
It's almost as if Miscommunication is their sole .mission

I sympathise. Got money back and an apology letter after complaining about e.on to the ombudsman. Have had to complain to Spark/Ovo twice now, they've given me £25 back each time as a 'goodwill gesture' They tried to put our direct debit up without informing me and then last week sent me a text message saying we owed them £150 when it was in fact £13 I go through the horror of trying to get someone to understand via live chat. 40 minutes it took Enrico to tell me the text message was an error.

Wires. I'm useless with extension leads, every time I mow the lawn I lose my rag because the wire ends up about 10 knots. This is more me being incompetent but the need wires needs to be reduced as much as possible.

I'm a member of a secondhand book selling page on FB (I initially joined because I have a couple of signed first editions) and the prices some people come up with are ridiculous. Books are essentially worthless, and people are selling secondhand, shitty paperbacks for only a couple of quid less than the RRP. And that's not including postage. If you have a lot of books you don't want, give them to charity FFS. Is it really worth posting each individual, mass market paperback in shitty condition for £2-£5 + P&P?
