I don't know if I'm alone in feeling this way but hey I must be weird. I grew up in the 80's listening to 80's music. Back then as a child I really enjoyed a lot of music from the 80's. Now when I hear some 80's music playing, I switch it off and put something else on. 80's music makes me feel very depressed, even if the songs are about cheerful happy things. 80's pop music freaks me out even though I liked it as a kid. Why is that, I wonder?

^ ...and that is why I hate so much '80s music!

I was into a lot of the German krautrock and space rock in the ***8216;70s ***8211; bands like Amon Duul II, Faust, Can, Neu! and Kraftwerk, but my favourites were always Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream.

I finally got to see Tangerine Dream at the Dominion Theatre in 1982. They were getting past their sell-by date by then and the music sounds lame now, but it***8217;s fun knowing I was sat in the audience somewhere. There***8217;s no video sadly, just audio of the gig.

I saw Tangerine Dream in about 1990 at the Hammersmith Odeon. They must have been positively moldy by that time but I enjoyed it nonetheless
I tried listening to them a couple of weeks ago and yea, they haven't aged well at all.

As for Klause Shultze, I have his album Kontinuum which is superb.

I never used to like this song, but I do quite like it now! Sounds better than on a cassette tape I suppose. Not seen the video before either - Love the dancing hotdogs!

She was indeed. I was a bit obsessed with her in my twenties

:D Didn't you just hate it though when they'd play a jingle half way through? I think that was probably because they knew that naughty people like us were recording.
