What are you grateful for?
What is at least one thing you are grateful for in your life right now? Anything at all, no matter how big or small, especially if you consider how bad the other side of it might be?
For me, I'll say I'm just happy to have a roof over my head. It's not a palace, barely serviceable, sharing with people I could do without in all honesty and only just a level above a garden shed but it's better than nothing. Can you imagine being homeless, especially with this weather as it is right now? Glass half full, not empty. What about you? |

Re: What are you grateful for?
^ I feel the same, I'm grateful to have a safe place to live and a warm bed to sleep in. Too many people don't even have that.

I'm going to go with life itself! That and Marks and Spencer's bread pudding!

Re: What are you grateful for?
Not living in a warzone, roof over head and all that stuff, family, settling down still possible in spite of poor economic performance, feeling a tiny bit less shit about myself because arguably have an undiagnosed disability, not being that prone to obesity, could probably keep going if I thought about it.

I'll be honest, I have little to no faith in any of the so-called political parties, but especially the Tories. Them, I'm definitely not grateful for. Or rather, I'm grateful for being able to, by some miracle, be able to hold it all together somehow in a Tory-governed Britain. |

Re: What are you grateful for?
Freedom is another one. That was a big one for me growing up., I shall write about it when I do my magnum opus which will be tightly edited and the snark will be removed.

Re: What are you grateful for?
^^^ Big Issue is £4.50 now. Inflation is rife.
The seller I bought from couldn't get the 50p change from his pocket ( I didn't want it anyway) because his hands were so cold, so I gave him my gloves as well. |

Re: What are you grateful for?
^^ IIRC the Christmas edition is usually more expensive.
Today I am grateful for family and hotel breakfasts. |

Re: What are you grateful for?
I'll also add that I'm grateful for food, especially as someone who really loves his food, and being able to afford to eat everyday and even have the luxury of choosing to eat once a day every other day.
