Was listening to some Jazzanova the remixes (1998-2000). As there is a late 90's/early 00's revival with music currently listening to some of the broken beats(is that the name of the style) it became apparent how afrobeats is also currently a big thing, because both are highly rhythmic and emphasise percussion so they are similar in ways.
