I couldn't do a single rep of an up and down plank last week without collapsing. Now I can do three before collapsing. I know I'm still weak AF but it's progress.

It's such an addictive feeling being able to do things I couldn't do before.

I've been doing a mix of press-ups, planks and crunches the past few weeks fairly obsessively and am seeing some fairly decent changes already. They're definitely helping my mood and making me feel a little more confident about myself. I'm just hoping I don't lose interest as has happened more than a few times* in the past. Thank you to Jam for finally getting through to me about doing some.

I seem to be hitting around 300 press-ups on an on day now and have grown triceps where none existed previously. It's great.

I’ve been going zoom kickboxing and workout classes consistently. Taken up running and noticed my core was a bit stronger so a better posture was noticeable. It also feels like it can help me run faster.

However, I was out off kickboxing in one session with a different sensei who always pointed out where I was wrong. I know he never meant bad but it made me so conscious and question of the kickboxing sessions were for me.

300 is really impressive. How many are you doing per set?

Gained about 5kg since lockdown, not enough exercise.

Which type of press-ups are you doing? Like nose to the floor types?

I did my first pull up yesterday, I know one solitary pull up sounds quite pathetic but I've never been able to do any before so I'm going to be riding the wave of being quite proud of that for the next few days.

I am amazed at any woman being able to hold their own weight!! We have terrible upper body strength, my arms are like spaghetti, except fat, maybe like linguine or just soggy pasta

I find them quite easy and enjoyable really, so it's not much effort. 15 per set, so they tot up quite fast. I could do more per set but am keeping at that. Will continue as I am for a bit and then look to change up technique a bit to make them harder.

Between 25-50 km on my exercise bike per day. Each session set as 25 km.
With most days two sessions of around 40 + minutes each.
It's not a Peloton have better things to spend £2,000 + on.

I've managed to drop five stone in a two year period now it's just maintainance.
22,000 Miles (36,000 km) in the period since I began logging it in July 2017.
142 hrs and 5,100 km this year to this point.
It's just tough at this time of year with how warm it is to do things.

I've gained maybe 3-4 lbs with being off work in the period due to lock down.
Jobs quite physical so was always burning some excess calories.
Back to work Monday

Just did a kickboxing workout session. It was exhausting and I found it hard to keep up as the sensei was doing exercises I’m not use to and was one that gave out orders fast.

Maybe I was also exhausted as I took a week off from classes and exercising so I’ma bit less fitter. I also began intermittent fasting, that may play into it. I’m definitely losing weight fasting though but probably haven’t exercised enough.

On the plus side I feel more calmer and ready to do stuff.
