Only last week, in Cornwall, I was following Google Maps to find a hiking spot called Cot Valley and was directed into a back alley which wasn't wide enough for a vehicle (even if I were to get out and remove the wheely bins), so ignored it and took the next available turning. I find it amazing that people will follow directions blindly when the route is clearly unsuitable (a few years ago, I had to rescue someone who's car was stuck in a massive pothole because she'd followed her satnav onto a footpath near where I live!).

This wacky dog. Dunno what's up with him today, he just come up to me tail wagging at 10,000mph and starts barking. When I get up to see what he wants he goes and hides under the table lol.

Didn’t make me laugh, but did make me smile as I love hearing new languages.

While in a hospital waiting room, there was an elderly couple speaking Yiddish. Not a hugely common language now, as it is a European Jewish language and we all know what happened there.
Anyway, it was fascinating to hear it as I haven’t heard it spoken before. It sounds like German but with a mix of Hebrew and Slavic languages in it.

Also makes me smile how nicely everyone, from different cultures, were speaking to each other. Jewish, Muslim, Caribbean, Russian and many more. Proof that people who say ‘multiculturalism has failed’ talk out of their backsides.
