"ooh she's gone red!!"
....is what i used to hear on a daily basis between the ages of 13 and 19, much to my annoyance/despair. I posted on this forum for a while when I was about 17. I'm now 22 and what I suppose you would call a 'recovered' social phobic/blusher, but i'm by no means a success story as although i'm now the most confident i've ever been, i ended up dropping out of uni twice due to my anxiety at mixing with the people on my courses both times. ugh.
i randomly remembered this site tonight and thought i'd rejoin to see if i could offer advice anywhere. I remember when i was younger i used to be unable to understand how the 'recovered' people on this board could have ever overcome blushing, but it really is possible, i promise i really hope that doesn't sound condescending...i'll shut up now lol anyway...hello!!
