I’m thinking about this. I’ve only cut my own hair and am still improving after about 7 years. Last week found a quicker way to fade my hair. But I would learn much quicker if I cut other peoples hair. And for the moment I would say my skillet is limited. I can only cut fade haircuts and most likely on type 4 Afro textured hair as I’ve only cut my hair but it seems like a craft you never stop learning from. Also as of recent, past 1 years or so I think people can’t tell I cut my hair as sometimes they would ask where I cut my hair, though it’s a basic drop fade. My challenges though is that I’m shy and socially awkward and that doesn’t fit the barber stereotype, especially from my experience. When I use to go barbers one time a barber joked about me and didn’t cut my hair, he humiliated me but I think maybe because it looked like I was out of school and work and the barbers was Caribbean so had a different mentality to a more British barber shop imo.

4:10 So my outliners I use must be dated. When I looked into cutting my hair around 2013 they seemed to be recommended a lot. But then a clipper is a clipper although they do have different motors so offer different experience.
