Thanks for the reply

I'm having Lemsips (when I remember to make them) and I really should have had more than one day off work last week, not sure I'm going to hold up all of next week especially as there's two people off (there's only six of us) and because I don't speak up for myself enough it's developed over the years that I'm always the one who ends up having to cope with the most extra work in that situation (long story but basically my assistants get taken away by the other department so the don't have to work too hard ).

Also made myself worse again today just by gong out on the bus to get some food shopping (took about two hours).

I need to stop drinking vodka in this country. Most of the time it's fake and I dunno why I've been ok taking the risk for all this time. It's three days since I drank some vodka and I'm only just about ok. Genuinely thought I was gonna die last night. Or my legs were gonna die and need amputating.

I have had it for about 4 days, it started off not too bad, but I woke up early on the friday with a terrible fever and cough. It is getting better though -- I am just using lemsip which is doing nothing. The common cold is a viral infection: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_cold

Just been on a really good date. He's happy to meet next weekend but I would gladly meet sooner, we never stopped talking!

My eyes were okay last night so I cancelled my opticians appointment today, which was only a second opinion check anyway.

Literature homework has taken up most of the weekend but I can't complain as it's really interesting.

Waiting for my friend to come up in the next hour or so.

The cat seems to be a bit down this weekend, which is making me sad .

(The vet school keep chopping and changing what they want to do with him too so it doesn't look like we're getting any treatment sorted anytime soon).

Sorry your boy saw you cry today but you have a great kid that knows how to make you feel better when you hurt.

Fed up, disappointed, suffering feelings of rejection. Story of my life, I should be used to it by now
I'm sorry you're feeling this way, Muggins.
Take care of yourself there.

At my relatives in laws house. I have social anxiety panic attacks and breathing problems. I feel so awkward when I try to communicate my mind on topics and such. My stomach and back neck hurt. How to calm down so I can breathe btw I took 2 tablets of lorasapam.

Physically and mentally rotten

I don't understand myself at times, last night I felt good, I could recognise some of the progress I have made and felt positive looking forward.

Now I just can't see anything remotely positive, I could quite happily jump off the nearest cliff, trouble is that's forty miles away.

^ Hope you feel better, sir. Are you able to find yourself something enjoyable or at least quite involved to do that might give your mind a break from things for a bit? I have an app I make myself play when I'm really struggling, and I do find it helps a little.

^^

Our minds are right bastards sometimes, I've been quite up and down lately and experiencing negative and toxic thought patterns that I thought I was overcoming coming back again and it is frustrating, but I just tell myself it is what it is and remember that the crappy phases always pass and it's just my mind being a dick to me, I try not to let them control me too much.

Appear's right though, maybe this is a good time to think about strategies to cope with these rotten phases, find something to fall back on to help you when you're having a crappy day, I've heard of people making a 'Happy Box', which sounds bloomin silly, but basically it's a box full of objects that are personal to us and make us happy, I don't have one of these myself, but it does sound like quite a nice idea to have a tool like that to get out when you're low

@Appear
@Olly
@Flumpsy

Thank you for your thoughts

I have managed to cheer myself up a bit with some tractor therapy!
A nice little job hauling 4 tonnes of apples to be made into my favourite drink - cider.

I sometimes wonder if some of my problem is wanting things to be perfect all the time, I find it incredibly difficult to accept things being just okay, whether that be at work or in relation to dealing with anxiety.
I've wasted so long waiting for the perfect solution to come along that I haven't done anything good either.

I am intrigued by the idea of a happy box though.

Shit, forgot to say good luck with the shed Flumpsy.
With any luck you can use it to lock away the tune that you used on your cctv camera video

Got that sickly, neurotic feeling like there's a blackboard in my head constantly having nails dragged down it. I'd like to go lie down in the dark to shut everything out, but don't want to risk falling asleep this early and waking up in the night. Feeling pissed off that the last few months everything has become askew somehow and I don't understand why, or how to get back to normal. Want to stop feeling so afraid all the time and for my brain to just generally shut up.

I'm constantly feeling like there's no time for anything at the moment, all I ever seem to do is go to work and prepare fo going to work it's making me feel on edge and I keep getting what I's describe as a pressure headache.

I need to sort things out but I don't seem able to even seriously think about doing anything about it.
