I've just put some pork steaks in the slow cooker with bbq sauce. Very, very little effort and should be fine but i'm hoping it'll be ready by 8ish.

I don't think i use it as much as i once did but they do have their uses. I wanted to tenderise the meat in this instance because it might've been a bit chewy otherwise. Also it was a 'family pack' with 4 steaks, so it's easy just to chuck them all in and cook at once - i've got another 2 leftover for tomorrow

It's a good question. I've not heard of river cobbler either before, a quick google tells me it's a fish from Vietnam also called Basa - which I have heard off/seen but didn't realise it was a cobbler, lol.

British radishes. I can't recall ever trying these. Got them cheap. Not enjoying them. "Peppery and crunchy". Yep, that's about the jest of them.
