^ Banks can be a blessed nuisance to deal with on the phone. I often prefer to handle them face to face wherever possible.

Shorts in the cinema...now that does deserve a bravery award because it's always bloody cold in there! I'm always like, "Shall we see if they've got any blankets?"
ToyStory4 is....OK, it's not as good as previous efforts but not bad.

it was so hot it was fine. No air con in the cinema. Times have a changed though, all these ppl having waitresses bringing food and wine to there cinema seats I was like ay? I've missed a trick!!

Not sure the human race is quite ready for the sight of my bare legs. Besides it's been so long since I've bared my legs to the sun I'm pretty sure they'll burn off after a few seconds.

I stayed away from somewhere that isn’t healthy for me. Not sure if this counts as an achievement. Maybe.

I'm a bit para that she's cut it at different lengths but my mum has reassured me that it's just how I've pushed my hair back in this pic https://imgur.com/a/lVYy8G0
Still looking a bit ratty and unhealthy though

This was terrible It was just me and four guys, two much younger than me and two much older. It felt a bit awkward since the place was quite busy. I didn't feel too nervous talking to them, but I got the impression that none of them really wanted me there. Oh well. They weren't really the kind of people I'd be friends with anyway.

I answered the door to the Tesco delivery guy tonight. My mum had to go out quickly and Tesco arrived when she was out (I usually hide upstairs when they come round) But tonight I had to answer the door and unpack the boxes. It was only slightly awkward because I unpacked the boxes really quickly so hardly any awkward silence. I also wished him a good night so at least managed to say something.

^ I carry the boxes myself from the front door to the kitchen, so I don't have to interact other than swapping empty boxes for full ones.

I don't really know what the etiquette is for that. I don't do online food shopping much, but when I do I just pile everything in the porch while they lift up each box in turn for me to grab the contents, then put it all away when they're gone.

They often seem to assume people want to chat and are obviously told to be friendly. I get that most people want that, it's just mildly distracting for me having a conversation - especially with someone new - when I'm unpacking and checking things - or at the checkout when I'm carefully packing my shopping. Part of my brain always goes - why is this person talking to me as if we know each other and are catching up? Then I'm like, oh they've been told to do this because the average customer likes it. Must be polite. All good practice I suppose. And if you order at the same time and day you often get the same driver, so I suppose it would be more natural to talk in that situation.

I actually complained about something yesterday...
I was staying in a cheap hotel, the first room they gave me was not entirely clean (details omitted for politeness) so I went downstairs and said that the room wasn't clean. The woman apologised and gave me a different room. It went well!
