How do you edit the title of threads if you've made a mistake?

I'm only asking this because I've made one embarrassing typo. I was so eager to post my thread that I rushed the title, only to discover, I can't seem to edit in any obvious way. I'm not that good with IT so thought I'd ask for pointers.
