Embedding youtube videos: does it bother you that...

...the video uploader can see all the sites where the video is embedded?

Just found this out today. Makes me wonder whether I should go and edit all the youtube videos I've embedded

From what I can see, it's just them knowing that somebody posted them on sauk. Right?

Well, when I embedded videos I always included the video title as text in the post, so I'd guess it'd be possible to identify my username by searching for that text.

Have you tried that? Actually I often find it's not that easy when I'm looking for a particular thread or post on here, but maybe that's just me doing it wrong

Chris I'm sure it's your paranoia speaking. I don't think too many people who upload stuff are aware of that information, let alone can be bothered to trace it back. As far as I know it's been mainly music videos you've been posting, right? If anything, maybe they are made aware that there's such a thing as social anxiety. Don't worry too much

Yes, I've just tried it with Google with one of the videos I posted.

Thanks, you're probably right, but right now I'm going through all the videos I've embedded and removing all the titles (it's going to take me a while

)
