I'm such a sucker for branding with those sort of sandwiches. I have no preference for pastrami over any other meat, in fact I don't think I could tell you what it actually is exactly (without Googling) But they come in a fancy paper bag, and it has the word Deli on it, so it must be good!

Today I read about eating too much pork increasing the risk of cancer, so naturally I went and ate a plate of bacon. I wasn't even thinking about bacon until I read it.

I've been mucking about in my kitchen in an effort to find something to do before I go totally barmy. Did a practice run (for a get together thing nearer to xmas) of goats cheese, chestnut and shallot tart thingy (I've forgotten the proper title ) on a puff pastry base.
Not a very tidy/neat effort I suppose but is scrummy tho' still not sure what I think of chestnuts

My diets truly buggered for tonight!

Tin of kidney beans, chickpeas, chopped tom. 350g boiled water + cube beef stock. Pack of sausages (browned off, then chopped). Celery, carrots, taters.. whatevers in the fridge/cupboards basically. half a jar of sun-dried tomatoes (chopped). Add pepper, salt, however many onions and crushed garlic cloves you fancy, and a couple of dollops of caramelised onion chutney. I also splash some worcestershire sauce in.

Put it all in a slow cooker on high for about 3-4hrs

The prices put me off Nando's, plus Nandos is easier to replicate at home than KFC.

Get yourself in KFC and have a Mighty Bucket for one and Skittles Krushem.

Burger King fries are the best.

McDonalds and KFC fries pretty much taste the same to me now.

McDonalds fries have lost that classic, McDonalds fry taste.

KFC fries used to be shapped like Burger King fries but less crispy and tasted like cardboard. lol

Isn't there something 'cheeky' about Nandos? I keep hearing something about it being cheeky; what's so cheeky about chicken Is it Barry Mcguigan that keeps saying it..? I think he coined the phrase
