I will be 46 next week so you are certainly not the oldest one here.

When I was 38 my therapist told me that I'd be OK in my forties. I'm now 56 so I guess she was a teenie bit out there!

i am 40+ and i have had SA all my life however up till 2yrs ago I had never heard of it. I thought I was just shy though that was hard enough. Now that I know I have SA I find life even harder as I am more aware of my own behaviour and how anti social i must appear to others. I have little hope of it ever getting better.

That's pretty much what I'm like - I'm not giving up until the docs have ran out of ideas (which might not be too far off).

Before I found this site I thought I was unusual in having what appears to be SA "at my age" but having had a look round I appear to be in good company.

So, special greetings to the over 40 contingent from a new member.

The big question is how many of us feel a lot younger than our age...i know i certainly do even though the grey hairs are starting to appear!

I'll be 47 in October, but think its the fact Ive never done really grown up things like experienced Love, marriage, kids, (grandchildren even!), that makes me feel and look like I'm still in my 20s.

Being slim and sleeping a lot probably helps as well.
Also not eating, they starved one set of rats who lived twice as long as the rats that eat all they wanted. Sunday dinner for me is often a couple of raw carrots and a bag of crisps.

You must have omitted to put in your date of birth in your profile. Of course you could manually add it to the calendar.
