Hello SAUK,

My name is Rich, I'm 21 and I reside in Southern England (Hampshire). I suffer from social anxiety (surprisingly!) and agoraphobia. I am currently housebound (for all intents and purposes) and have been for three years - I'd be interested to hear from other housebound individuals (though all are welcome) because I'm under the impression that we're something of a rare breed/endangered species :P and therefore I encounter very few.

Hi, Rich. I'm not agoraphobic exactly, but I only ever feel really comfortable when I'm at home. If it weren't for my animals, and the fact I have to work seven days a week, I probably would never leave the house either.

I hope you make some good friends here.

Hi Rich. I was housebound from 2004-2009. It was the most difficult period of my life. I am much better now in terms of agoraphobia but I still find it nearly impossible to make friends.
