Default Fashion faux pas

Yes us older ones have seen some changes, but we have also dressed and styled ourselves in some terrible ways over the years. Here is your chance to show or just admit to yours, were you a 70's punk or disco diva, 80's new wave, did you try the Kevin Keegan perm or maybe the Purdy cut but most important ARE YOU BRAVE ENOUGH TO SHOW IT. Now i hate having my photo taken, you can count on your fingers how many of me i have as an adult but even i find these so funny i can manage to show them - enjoy

NOTE THE BASIN CUT AND BATMAN TIE

YES THE 80'S NEW WAVE HAIR, CUT SHORT AT THE SIDES WITH A PERM ON THE TOP

Oh man, you just had to make me post this didn't you. This is me and my mum when I was going through my used-car-salesman 'tache phase, and I guess she was going through her pink tracksuit phase. It was the 80s, okay? Don't judge me.

^Alas not mossieman, I think I had a purge of my 80s gear long ago. That jacket was probably burnt in a special ceremony commemorating my bad clothing choices.

Love the Batman tie. It's probably worth literally pounds these days, you should treasure it

Thank you pinkandpurple, you're very kind to take pity on my past self. Yes I actually thought I looked good at that time with my 17 year old facial fluff.

^it's very hard to pull off a moustache nowadays. I keep wanting to leave one on when I shave my beards off. It just isn't happening. I can only pull off two looks........... the dodgiest man in the world or out of work porno actor.

Thankfully to my knowledge I only have one image of me on the net, and that was taken from a picture that was in my then local newspaper I was with the newsreader Kenneth Kendall (now theres a blast from the past for you) however I will confess to....

Having a button on frill and bow tie set, you jazzed up a plain white shirt with the detachable frills - I looked like a cross between Bobby Crush and Mrs Slocombe

Having Platform shoes, Flared Trousers with the pockets on the outer side of the legs, and a tank top. well it was 1975, I had a biology master at school that still sported a very similar look in 1981

and I did sport a Kevin Keegan bubble perm for about 18 months until I had to have my haircut when I went to the Grammar School, it was just a tad strict.
