Cool Went to a "games night"!

After much nagging from my husband, I finally agreed to go to games night, which is round at his friend's place. I've met his friend several times, but I knew there was going to be another person there who I'd never met before - so I was extremely anxious about going.

Anyway, I had a great time. Most fun I'd had in a while. Who'd have thought that board games could actually be fun? I've been to another one since then, and intend to keep going.

Afterwards I realised that it had been the first time I'd set foot in a non-relative's house since about 2005/6. Yikes.

So, yay for me going and an even bigger yay for getting through the night feeling like I did 'well'. I managed to chat and joke about and I felt pretty relaxed and that I was accepted. It was good.
